As you know, your contact was called from the airport. Even so, nobody was waiting when you arrived there and the contact had to be called again
It’s not unusual. That’s why we always remark to any traveler to make the phone call immediately when arriving at the airport to avoid having to wait at the front door, maybe with children and most of the times, very tired

Thank you very much for your review. No need to say that to arrange any travel detail 4000 miles away is really a hard task to perform. We admire your wife’s ability to do this! Especially when a family is going to stay more than two weeks far from home. We trust your cruise in the Carnival Sunshine did worth the effort. As you may know, that cruise is a new one this year. We also felt very pleased with your location choice. Most of the people prefer to stay in centric hotels or apartments. That gives them more time for any touristic visit. Your hotel was not in the City Center but we bet you were satisfied in the Poblenou neighborhood, so close to the Main Street. This kind of places is lovely and perfect to live a more real experience about the life in our city

That is, the customer has to get in touch as soon as possible by calling to the assistance number printed in the voucher. Then, to send a text message with the new travel details. Otherwise, it’s complicated to manage the necessary arrangements to have the new pick-up ready. And of course, that should be done before the initial booked arrival!

It’s a nice reward for us to be so well reviewed by a so experienced traveler. We hope your family had a nice stay in our city. You made a good accommodation choice. The Gracia neighborhood is a very ancient and typical area. Long ago, until 1856, Gracia was a different village outside of Barcelona. That’s why you can walk its lovely narrow XIX style streets and enjoy the wrought iron railing balconies. We guess you visited Casa Vicens one of the first important works of a young 31 years Gaudi. We’re sure you also didn’t miss our Parc Güell. 6 days is a good time to visit our city but sure that a lot of things were missed so we hope to meet you again in the future!

We hope you had a good stay in your hotel, so close to the main Gaudi works La Pedrera and Casa Batlló and enjoyed your week cruising in the Liberty of the Seas. As you might know, Royal Caribbean has the biggest cruise in the world, the Oasis of the Seas. That’s said with permission given by the Allure of the Seas, that is just 5cm shorter! The Oasis will cruise from Barcelona next year, just in case your nice family is looking forward to visit us again!

We feel very satisfied we could make the necessary arrangements to pick your nice group as soon as possible when you texted the new return date. We have to say that in this case it was not an easy job. That particular day, 13,000 passengers disembarked in Barcelona, from 4 different cruises!
